When considering the right club lacrosse team for our sons, we wanted a club that would focus on individual fundamentals and grow their love of the game, a team that fostered meaningful relationships with teammates and coaches and a team that would give them opportunities to compete against high-level competition. Thunder Lacrosse offered the best mix for accomplishing those goals. Thunder Lacrosse provided off-season individualized training to focus on the most basic aspects of the game, small group training to play with teammates and coaches in a fun atmosphere, plenty of full-team practices to develop chemistry and competed in challenging tournaments throughout the year. Our sons enjoyed their time playing and always felt like valued members of their teams. The relationships among the boys and families developed into friendships we will always value. Thunder was instrumental in creating a life-long love and respect for the sport, and for that, we will always be grateful to the Thunder Lacrosse family.

My son started with Thunder lacrosse the fall of his freshman year of high school. I wasn't sure exactly how a club program would benefit my son in the long run. But it has been one of best decision we've made for him. Thunder lacrosse not only help my son hone his skills at lacrosse it provided great life lessons such as striving for success as well as understanding losses. It has help my son learn to be a better team player, to show up for his fellow players, put in the hard work, and encourage each other through the whole process. Also I can't say enough about the coaches. They are amazing! The coach made himself available to all of the Thunder players even through their high school season which was amazing! They did check-ins to see how my son was doing in his high school season, they encouraged him and helped him through the struggles he faced. I truly believe this program and the coaches have had a long lasting and very positive effect on my son and his future. My son has learned value of hard work but most of all this program has taught my son how to be resilient and have a positive attitude!

Braeden had a fantastic experience playing with Jersey Thunder Lacrosse Club. From the very beginning, the coaching staff created a positive, supportive, and competitive environment that helped him grow—not only as a player, but also as a teammate and an individual.
The coaches are knowledgeable and genuinely invested in player development. They emphasize fundamentals, game strategy, and confidence-building, while also promoting discipline and strong sportsmanship. Over the course of the season, Braeden significantly improved his skills as a Faceoff man and developed a deeper understanding of the game.
What stood out most was the team culture. The players consistently supported one another, and the strong emphasis on teamwork made the experience even more meaningful. Braeden built lasting friendships and always looked forward to competing in the travel season tournaments and spending time with his teammates.
